The club was founded in 1977, "Artifacts" was added later to the club name because most members have bottles as a common bond but often specialize in other collectables too. Our members dig, dive, search Ebay and bottle shows for bottles and other "go-withs". Some specialize in local bottles while others strictly collect black glass, pottery or marbles. There are as many types of collectors as there are collectables. We currently have over 20 members and our members have a vast array of knowledge on many different bottles and local history. This is probably one of the greatest benefits of our club.
